My name is Brian Potts. I am a furniture maker, specialising in making early English and French dining tables. Other areas of my work include large wooden doors, for entries or wine cellers.
I am very enthusiastic about designing and building pieces that will show off the natural colour, texture and the beauty of the timber I am using. My furniture is built using quality materials and old fashioned craftsmanship to insure a lifetime of use and enjoyment. Using different woods in combinations, inlays, hand rubbed finishes, natural colours and graceful lines are the attributes I like to build into my pieces.
The majority of my pieces are made from reclaimed oak and new oak made to look aged.
Mine is a small business where service means everything an each customers needs are my challenges. My workshop is located on a small acreage at Waterford, just south of Brisbane.
